Here is a new twist for your DIY Graduation Scrapbook Layout. Add a picture from pre-school graduation! This page becomes much more fun when you have the “remember when” graduation image added to the layout.

Here is a new twist for your DIY Graduation Scrapbook Layout.

How to make your own DIY Graduation Scrapbook Layout:

Step 1: Select your photographs. Preschool, elementary school, whatever you have available will work for your “remember when” photograph. Then pick your favorite pose of the current graduation picture.

Step 2: Choose two colors of cardstock that compliment the largest photo. School colors work perfectly for this. One color will be for the background and the other for accents.

Step 3: Cut the mats for your photographs and attach your photos using your adhesive applicator.

Step4: Cut or punch out a couple of designs from the same paper as your mats to make your embellishments. The ones you see here were made by stamping a design with blue ink on orange cardstock. The ink matches the background cardstock.

Step5: Add a vellum quote or journal box. I am still working on finding the perfect adhesive for vellum quotes. If you have had success attaching your quotes without the adhesive showing through, please share it with me. I would love to find a better way to paste these on.

Step 6: Place your matted photographs, embellishments and quote/journal box on the page. Move them around until you get a look that satisfies you. Then attach all to your page with your adhesive applicator.

And there it is! You just made a graduation scrapbook page that you and your graduate will love!

There are so many great ideas online for graduation scrapbook layout so be sure to check out our School Scrapbooking Pinterest Board for even more awesome ideas. I think collaboration is one of my favorite things about scrapbooking. After all, two heads (or hundreds of heads) are better than one!
